rattles from the manifold???

rattles from the manifold??? just recently, my engine has started to rattle. It is a rattle that goes up in sound (the speed of the rattle) as the RPM's go up. at first i thought it was something to do with the pully's/belt, but after i took them off and replaced the belt, still the noise. My roomate and I both think that it is coming from the manifold, the front side, but there is nothing that i can think of. anybody have an idea of what this could be.
BTW, my car is an 01 camaro SS, with a MN6, and the performance of the car has not been affected in any way, or at least that i can feel

Re: rattles from the manifold??? Did you just recently install the SLP STB? I'm asking because when I installed my STB there was a rattling sound and it ended up being the engine oil dipstick handle rubbing on the stb. I just bent it back slightly to resolve the issue.

Re: rattles from the manifold??? no that is not the problem, i had a stb for years now. Someone from my car club suggested that i take the timing cover off, because thats where he feels the sound is coming from. But if it is from the timing cover, what could it be???
i installed a cam months ago, and this problem just started to happen, anyone else have an idea??
