Default looking for a good cam

Im new to the ls1 scene. I dont know what cam and possibly heads to go with. I want it to sound mean and make around 390-410 hp to the wheels. I currently have a 99 trans am A4 with LT headers, Ypipe, Gmmg exhaust(no cats), Lid, converter is on the way, as well as a new 10 bolt with 33 spline axles with a 373 gear. All suggestions would be much appreciated. I also hope to get an ls6 intake before i put the cam in(hopefully heads to.) SHoot me you're suggestions on a cam only and a heads cam setup. THanks

If money is an issue go with G5X-2 114 and stage II TEA heads. If money isnt an issue go with the same cam and either stage II GTP or LG heads. They both did put down good numbers. Good luck.

Well i didnt try or see a G5X-2 114 cam before, but u said u wanted a mean sounding car and this is it. U can go with the cam i have. It sounds mean, but its my daily driver and i dont have any problems with it. I didnt even tune it yet and the car runs fine. I gained 30rwhp 3rwtq peak and 46rwhp 40rwtq under the curve from 4500-6400RPM. And all that with no tunning until now .

with that kinda power you might want to consider ditchin the 10 bolt and going with a 12.

You can see in my sig what I pulled. I love MTI`s X1 on 112 lobe, 414rwhp and the sound is sweet. Tuning is a must for this one. Call MTI and talk to Jayson. great people! I1m safely tuned for spray!!!!!
