lq4 Buildup questions
lq4 Buildup questions im getting a lq4 and puttin a set of lq9 pistons and rods in it, ive got the stg 2.5 5.3l heads from prc unmilled and runnin a ms4 cam and goin to flycut the pistons. ill be runnin the cometic gaskets (what ever someone suggests..) and arp bolts, the motor only has 8k miles on it.. but im gettin the rods and pistons for free so im gonna make it a lq9. im also gonna put a adj double roller timing chain on it.
what i need help with is what PR's, Head gaskets, How deep the flycuts need to be, this motor isnt gonna be daily driver, but i would still want to be able to run 93 at the lowest, most of the time it would prolly have race fuel in it. so compression ratio doesnt really matter. i just wanted to see if someone has a simular build, i searched for some answers but nothing really came up on compression ratio or anything..
just want to know the lengths and what other ppl would do.. thanks!!
