Default Help me stroke my camaro

I am trying to stroke my camaro ls1 im thinking 383 3.90 stroke and a .030 overbore.What i need is i was told that anything under 4 inch stroke i dont need to do alot of clearancing is this true?? Help me out do u have any sugestions of a budget stroker kit ??

i even have a yamaha warrior new top end not running needs some work ill trade for some ls1 or 2000 camaro parts

You can run a 4.000" Crank without a problem in a LS1. 4.000" Crank with a Stock Bore is a 383, I don't think a LS1 will take a .030 over-bore.

LS1's cant take much more then a few hones... before sleeving is needed.

4.00" stroke and a 3.905 bore = 383

remember when adding stroke , the pistons will move up and down quicker than normal . as long as it is built right you should be ok . otherwise may have to drop your rev limiter down .
