Default a big newbie question

if i add a 12 bolt with 4.10 gears will that help my dyno numbers or does the rear end and gears not effect dyno results.....02 T/A M6...torquer v.3 cam, pacesetter lt's, tsp ory, slp lid....383rwhp...363rwtq

The 12 bolt has more mass to it which takes more force to turn. You should only dyno 10~15 hp less but will more than make up for it by being able to launch harder and not having to worry about your 10 bolt breaking.

u will see a drop in numbers.....BUT u will be alot faster. me personally i am going to get a dana 60 after deployment next year. i know a couple guys who have busted a couple 12bolts in m6 cars. but when upgrade the rear that means u get to do drag radials which will really help your times
