Valve clearance
Valve clearance I was thinking of going to a 2.02 valve my heads are off a 99 corvette and are milled.025 I'm going to run a cam around 595-598 lift around 112- 114 lobe separation probably around low 230's@.050 duration. My short block is a stock 98. Do you guys think I'll have a problem?
The common, minimum valve clearance is .100" int. & .080" ext. Try not to go below these clearances. If your close in these clearances you can use head gaskets thickness to raise the heads to give you more piston to valve clearance

But many poeple run lower than that with bigger cams.
