5.3 head question?

5.3 head question? This might be a dumbass question, but a guy that deals with 5.3's told me the head can be swapped side to side (e.g. swap drivers' side head w/ passenger side). Is this true?
The reason i ask is i have a crack near where the exhaust bolts up on the drivers side. I have a spare head fully assembled, but it's a pass. side.

Yes they transfer back and forth without issues. Just remember to take care of the plug or ECT sensor in the head
