I'll be installing a 224/224 cam in my LS1, will stock injectors be enough to filll the demand or will i need to upgrade

yes... stock injectors will be fine... as a matter of fact I'm still on my stockers and look at my mods

they will however be my next upgrade... once your around 450rwhp the stockers are pretty much maxed out...

 

It wouldn't hurt, just plan for future mods and make sure you get the correct size accordingly. More than likely you're fuel pump will starve before your injectors will though, that's what's happening in my case, so the Racetronix Kit and FAST 36lb or Lucas 42lb are in order next.

 

ok thanks guys in doing a ls1 swap into my 95 T/A do u think i should swap out for a better fuel pump? or can i scavange the fuel pump out the recked 99 T/A

 

Will the stock fuel pump handle 42/lb injectors?

 

On my 02 Z06 the stock 28.8lbs/hr injectors were at 87% duty cycle with LT headers and air intake. I just installed a 224/228 cam and now at WOT they are at 98%. It is recommened to keep them under 80% duty cycle. I just installed a set of the SVO 30s to get it back in line.
