ok guys so check this out im gona take a 5.3 block(cast iron)
bore it to 3.905 bore use -22 dish forged pistons
6.125 forged rod and a 3.900 crank to make a 373
i know i can do the same with a 6.0 and justa a bore but i dnot wana
i like the idea of a small bore 373ci .im gona use ether a set of l92 heads or afr 225cc and a victor jr with an elbow this motor will see about 11psi or more from an 80mm goal hp is around 850 to a 1000 anything in that range and ill be happy ...well let me know what you guys think

 

well, L92 heads won't work on a 3.905 bore...valves too big. So your budget must include the AFR's. Big price difference between L92's and AFRs
Where do you get the pistons, or will they be custom?
