vrx3 cam ?'s
vrx3 cam ?'s i've been looking for a cam for my daily driver and think i found it. the vrx3 cam from vengance racing. what do you guy's think? any of you running this cam how do you like it. how much power is it capable of in a stalled auto. i am getting a 3200 circle d 9.5 stall , lt's, ls6 , ported tb and a tune! what can i expect to get out of this? i am trying to get a 11.00 street car can i get that with this setup . thanks
I've installed a couple of X3's and it's definitely my favorite cam from them. It's a tad on the mild side for my tastes, but works really well. For an A4 get it on a 114+4 and it'll work great. Just for comparisons sake, I swapped out an X3 for a competitors much larger cam in a customers car a while back. The end result was it didn't make any more power than the X3.
The 11.0 you want is going to depend more on the entire setup of the car, not just the cam you choose. This includes tuning, suspension, gearing, tire selection, etc.

oh yeah i know i can run a 11.0 easy all day . i could build the car for close to the same money. i will have in it this way and go anoth 1.5 sec faster. i just want a solid street car. this is why i am looking at this cam . it was reccommended to me by ron . i am going to spray it 150-175 . vengance is going to tune the car so it will be right, i will prob get a 3.42 and call it a day. i'll get bmr suspension unless i find something better with qa1's . that should be good enough for me to get there i hope. if i have to i will throw on the slick's to get there even though i would want to do it with dr's.
