Default Wipe pattern with stock rockers?

Does anyone ever check it and if so what should I be looking for?

Centered over the valve stem, 0.060" wide if possible.

I'll check it and report back, I know it was centered over the valve and that preload is correct. If the wipe pattern is wider than .060 but the preload is correct then how do you get it in spec?

I don't see how .060" is possible with a stock rocker. I got mine centered with no problem, but the wipe pattern is not that narrow.

Centered is good and you likely won't get it narrower once its centered. That's a function of the rocker design and lift. Narrower is better and 0.060" is a good target if you can get there. I was fortunate on my YT setup, the width was 0.045 or less.

There are some who also like to bias it slightly to the intake side of the valve stem so that the larger spring forces (as the valve is opening) are acting closer to the center.
