P&P stock heads question
P&P stock heads question Please someone answer this. If I was to get my stock heads ported and polished and get a decent cam, how much HP gains I'm looking at? Just want to make some good power without breaking the bank. Thanks.
well with stock heads cam only with a half-way decent cam, people are netting around 400rwhp..id say with the ported heads if they are done right you can have anywhere from 410-430. just a guess

AI CNC'ed 241 and a Z06 cam will get you 400hp
Get with PerdatorZ or PatrickG and have them Spec you a custom grind for your setup. will cost the same as a new cam either way.
TSP 5.3L stage 2.5 heads with a TSP 228R will get you over 400hp and run $1700. for the H/C combo
But, to do it right get the BEST heads you can afford with a custom cam.
the key to POWER is the RIGHT combo for what you want!
