h/c now...procharger later?
im sure this has been covered b4.......but im just wondering if on a 01ish ls1 6spd that has h/c making about 410-440whp ...if u can put a procharger on 6-8 lbs on it with the h/c the procharger would have them twin intercoolers..the thing that makes me wonder is bc of now the heads r gunna riase the compression..and the cam might have to much of a overlab for FI...any info in appriciated

Need more info to give info. Which h/c combo you talking about? A guy I work with runs a TSP 224r on a 114lsa w/ LS6 STG 1 heads - unmilled, on stock MLS gaskets, stock bottom end, running 5lb on a D1SC Procharger, dyno'd 552rwhp (@ 8lbs FWIW) and could drive it every day if not for his damn Corrolla!

Some motors last when making over 500, and some dont but doing H/C and 8 psi was going to be a recipie for a blown motor.
Also the heads you would get, you would try to dump the compression as much as possible.
If my block had come out to be forged, the cubes would be increased and slowly this turned into a 20k investment between heads, cam, bolt ons, blower, and fuel upgrades....
