Default Priming Oil pump

I put the SLP ported oil pump on my car, what are the priming procedures for it? Any other tips before initial start?

Before installing the new pump, fill it with oil (in the pickup hole, on the gears, etc...) Give it a few turns by hand, and fill again...

Yeah it will spill out, but do your best to keep as much oil as possible in it while bolting it on.

That's it.

After my cam and new pump install, I pulled my fuel pump fuse, and my spark plug wires, then turned the car over for 30 - 60 seconds in 10 - 15 second intervals. Hooked everything back up, fired it up and instantly had pressure

Or you can get a pre-charge oil unit , just thread it into to oil switch location & it will pre-lube the whole system.
