Default lifters?

Ok ive been reading alot on cams and how to's on installing them (ill be doing it soon) but ive noticed that its not a big practice in the LSx to change the lifters and im wondering why? or is it and i just missed that part? i thought that you needed to change the lifters when changing cams?

You have to pull the Heads to change the Lifters.

Make sure you pull your Rockers off and Push Rods out, and give the Cam a good couple of turns before you pull it out of the front of the Engine.

Since they are roller lifters, you can usually get away without changing them although GM does recommend they be changed with a new cam. Not as critical as a flat tappet cam.

i just plain didnt wanna pull the head but the first time i do they will be swapped.
