is it possible to use the main caps from a 6.0 liter in an ls1. please can we stick to the question at hand i have been getting flamed on other boards for this. i just need to know if it is possible.

Daniel, I have a set of 99 5.7 main caps in good condition, you can have them if you need a set. You'll need a align hone anytime you change main caps to something other than what the block was originally machined with. Not sure if the 6.0L ones will interchange since the truck blocks were cast iron.
