Default MS4 , LS6 heads , cometic gaskets

hi , my buddy have 2002 trans am m6 , he want to install ms4 112 LSA with stock 243LS6 heads and cometic heads gaskets thickness .051 , there will be problems ? can he run with cometics .040 ? and he will spray from 75-150 HP

He should have no problems with the piston to valve clearance, but it is always a good thing to check anyway since there are variations in deck-height and such from the factory. Also, it is wise to degree the camshaft in to ensure the valve events lie where they are designed to (see provided cam card). If the cam is off by a degree or two and the timing set you use is off by another few degrees your pistons to valve clearance can be severely compromised!
