Default Misfires: Causes of

Ok after cam install, I have a clicking noise, which may or may not be a noisy injector, and an intermittent misfire. This cam does not really have enough duration to run into many misfire problems, 220/220. Guys, gimme a complete list of anything and everything that could cause this misfire. The thing idled and drove smoothly all day with several trips, and then all of a sudden started missing enough to feel, and flashing the SES when idling for more than a minute or two. This is ******* pissing me off and I want to smash my engine with a hammer. Thanks

Alright, the misfire is coming from #3. It is present nearly every cycle at idle, but dissappears above 1200 to 1600 RPM? What would cause a misfire that goes away at anything above idle?

Spark plug wires ???? Are they on good ?

Is the "noisy" injector associated with #3 ? ...maybe it's bad ?

Just speculating ... sorry if no help
