Default Low $ stroker kit

Someone here mentioned an impeding release of a less expensive stroker crank for the LS1s. For most street/strip applications a cast crank is fine.
Its sad when the LT1 guys can buy a stroker crank for $200, and the cheapest LS1 stroker is $1650.

Yeh; I agree. The only thing certain, however, as time goes by more competition will develop and the prices should drop..

A stroker crank under $1g would be nice.

Does anybody have feedback on the SDPC Callies(?) $1600 crank?

...one post here reported a broken/defective reluctor wheel on a new Callies crank....

SDPC also said they can get a 4.125 version for $200 more....

Thats what I've read one failure. But one failure in how many and one failure can happen for a variety of reasons not all due to Callies.

Yeah, I keep seeing the Lunati adds and they list a LT1 stroker kit (complete) for less than $2000, but an ls1 is twice that cost.

Oh well... maybe in four or five years we'll see competitive pricing.
