windage tray... TRQ?
windage tray... TRQ? 
I had to space my windage tray for my 4" crank. (used a few washers from home depot)Didnt know they need a specific torque spec. which I think is 18ftlbs.
When I installed the tray, I think thats what I did going by the feel of my hand... they are on there good because I didnt want to end up with a bolt or washer floating around in my crankcase
since I didnt use a torque wrench, do you think I have distorted the main caps in anyway? dont think there is that much influence just tighting down to an estimated 18...

I tiightened mine down without a toque wrench since my wrench only went down to like 25 ft lb. I dont think you would damage them at all. It's been a while since i did mine but dont they tighten into stud? Which would mean the only stress would be between the nut holding the main cap on and the nut tightining down the windage tray would would not affect the main cap to block tightness at all.
