anyone heard of P1637C trouble code? fix for this?

cant find such a code. what car is it on? did you mean a p0137? what did you use to scan it?

P1637? Generator L-Terminal Circuit. Has to do with the alternator.

found out the code is P1637C, Generator and Driver Open circuit?

Don't know what the "C" means on the end of the code, but I'd check the red exciter connection/wire at the alternator and make sure nothing has been tapped into it. When my alternator failed a few months ago it didn't throw a code - just wouldn't charge and slowly discharged the battery while driving. Might not be your issue, just my experience.
