Default Cam suggestions, PTV issues?

Hey everybody, last year I got a 99 C5 MN6 with 22k on it for $22k, which at the time was a really good deal. The market has fallen to ****, but that's another story. Anyways, I started off with a granatelli catback, then got a vararam, then did headers and dyno tune. I have since added a ported TB, and LS6 intake manifold. The car went 13.04@108mph with just the catback and vararam, untuned. After adding the headers and dyno tune, the car went 13.2x@112mph with a 2.3 60ft, bogging and then wheel hopping. My second gear synchro is also shot, so shifting into second takes forever.

Anyways, I am picking up a set of stock 243 heads that have been milled to 62cc chambers. I originally was going to go with stock 243 heads, and a G5X2 cam or something very similar. I have been told that the G5X2 (232/240 .595/.608 112LSA) will not work with these heads, is there any truth to this? If so, how big of a cam can I stick with? I want to have at least 410rwhp/375rwtq. Should I just get unmilled heads and use the G5x2, or will the added compression with the milled heads, and a slightly smaller cam work better? I also plan to spray the car with a 100 or 125 shot a few months after the install.

get the millled heads and fly cut .then spray 150 and you will have a big smile on youre face. i think the 232/240 is a g5x3 .

I have ran 5 cams with my 59cc afr's and my favorite is the xer 232/234 .595/.598

had damn good low end and pulled well into the high 6k range. and i smoked my buddies big block 69 camaro 620crank hp with a 125 shot with that cam

With LPE ported 62cc LS6 heads, 2.02/1.57 valves, .052 GM mls gaskets and a LG G5X3 114 camshaft, I only have .057 PTV on the intake.

A 112 LS cam would reduce the PTV.
