The owners manual does NOT call for 5w/20. It specifies 5w/30. I would switch to the proper viscosity.

With that said, I'm not implying this will fix the issues your seeing, but it needs to be done none the less.

holy **** i got owned guys i apologize for putting up the wrong info checked and it is 5w30 stupid *** ford truck i own uses 5w20... ****... is that bad that i put that in mine... could explain why it looses pressure when it heats up by the visc. not being thick enough ****... well i'll change it today along with my fuel filter hope the filter fixes my hesitation and the oil change fixes the gauge... stupid mistake i've changed the oil a million times but when i changed the truck the days before i went thinking it was 5w20 holy

Changed my oil over the weekend & that indeed fixed my flucuation issues. Now it holds steady & only rises under acceleration.

Good to hear man. I was hopin a simple oil change would solve your issue too. I'm a big fan of always starting with the simpliest fix. The sending unit would have been next but a oil change is by far easier, LOL. Especially if you have never messed with the oil pressure sending unit. It's a tempermental little POS.
