Default shorter pushrods?

This is my assumption and what I am going to do, just second guessing that's all. I have a MS3 (114 LSA) on my 99 TA with undecked PRC 2.5 5.3 heads on stock motor. Also have .40 MLS gaskets and barely landed 3 exhaust valves, and mean barely nothing bad. Actually caught it in time and am thinking of putting in 7.350 pushrods instead of the 7.4s that I have in there now. I checked everything prior to actually cranking the motor during the install, but have only taken the motor to 6100. I am planning on a 6700-6800 redline or where it stops making power after tuned. I do have a decent base map from my tuner until I can get it up to DE from NC to get tuned and breaking in the S60 at the same time. Thing that I'm thinking is spinning it faster could only be worse with the 7.4 pushrods. Just want to make sure I am doing the right thing. I am using LS7 lifters and stock rockers by the way.

Are you saying that you had piston to valve contact and are trying to correct it with a shorter pushrod? If so that's not gonna work, and you will have to flycut.

Yep but the contact looks like an size of an eyelash. So minisule it's rediculous, flycutting is an option but was thinking just somewhat a quick fix because I only need this motor until June/July at the latest. I'm transfering and want to run her before I go to Kodiak Alaska for 3 years and am going to build a motor for it up there and nothing will be reused with what I am planning. Was even thinking thicker head gaskets. Need it for about 20-30 passes and that's it. If it breaks on the 25th pass oh well.

The thicker head gaskets will only get you about .016" clearance. That most likely will not stop the contact, especially when parts start heating up and expanding. If you want it to stay together without bending valves(or worse) you need to flycut. The lifters can still pump up and cause contact even if you shorten the pushrods .050".
