Default hp and tq difference between cams

I know this site is flooded with repetitive questions about cams but i searched and couldn't find answer i was looking for. I wanted to see what the peak hp and tq difference would be between a smaller cam specificially Texas Speed 224R and Texas Speed 233/239. car would be a 6speed full weight car. 3.90 gears. stock heads with bolt ons. car is weekend only toy50/50 street strip. i understand the bigger cam will make more power but low end grunt would be sacrificed. Another question I had was why is the powerband for Texas Speed Torquer V.3 400 rpms higher then Texas Speed 233/239. Wouldnt a larger duration cam high its powerband higher? Also is there anything you could do to a cam to benefit more with a 150 shot spray. I know with a restrictive intake a reverse split cam is good b/c intake valves stay open longer. sorry for the long rant im just trying to educate myself on the topics

dandrea86 give us a call at the shop. We have engine dyno tests from tons of different camshafts that should help make your decisions easiler. Just looking at a sticky won't help much as looking at actual back to back dyno tests!!
