Default loud valvetrain?

just put a cam in about a week ago idk if its been there the whole or if it started afterward. but i think my lifters are starting to tick a little to loud. My car has always been loud on start up and the guys that installed the cam even rechecked my lifters after the install just to make sure. but now iv noticed the car has a steady ticking sound idk it may just be my headers leaking what do you guys think, o and my car is a 2000

mine was pretty loud, but when it sounded like one of the spring were broken, i double checked and one of the bolts was loose to the egr tube going to the headers. Fixed the prob.

I had the same problem after I did my cam, when i did the head install I replaced the lifters and put in ls7 lifters. I still have the tick and was wondering the same thing.
