Well it is time to go big cubes. I just had my worn out 347 freshed up and I am going to start playing with nitrous this spring. In the mean time I just got me a block I am going to use for a 427 setup when my current motor lets go (hopefully it will last awhile). Who has the best 427 rotating assembly? I know it would probably be easier to just buy an assembled shortblock but I am going to have a local reputable machine shop assemble it.

Best bang for buck, hands down is Compstar stuff by Callies. There are guys on here making well in excess of 1khp with their stuff and from what I can gather doesn't take as much finish machining as Eagle or Scat.
I would go with the Callies Speed Pack as stated above. You cannot beat the quality for the price. PM me for a price, I'd be happy to work out the details of your setup with you.
Thanks,
Shane

well its all about how much you wanna spend. i went with: crank is a dragonslayer by callies, compstar rods, diamond pistons, total seal rings, acl main and rod bearings, all balanced to 1/10 of a gram. all for $3100 shipped
