Car won't start

Car won't start Ok, as the weather has gotton colder my car has been difficult to start most mornings. It will crank slow for 10 - 15 sec. and finally turn over ( the clock is reset when this happens). Sometimes it will start right up. Today it wont start at all. It can here it start to turn and then it dies and makes a fast clicking noise till I let off the key. The dash lights come on and the voltage guage was in the low yellow area and when I walked away and hit the lock the horn was noticably quieter then normal. I think its the battery but could it be the starter? Just want to get some opinions before I head out to my local autozone. I don't know how old the battery is. Its an Interstate that was in the car when I bought it used. I don't know what type of batt. came in these stock. Thanks for any help.
Umm.. try jump starting the car or if you have another battery swap it out and see if it runs. If the car runs after being jump started it's more then likley the battery. If you can get it jumped take it to Autozone find an employee that knos what they are doing and have them test you batt, starter and alt.

I tried to jump it this morning and it didn't work. I just now tried and let the cables sit for awhile longer and it finally worked so i'm off to Autoaone for a new battery. Thanks. Glad it wasnt the starter checked the price on those $200. 
Dead batteries play funny tricks on cars. My battery charger will charge them to a full 100% and maintain them until i go to start and where it will die to %60 or so and not crank the engine sometimes. Battery is always the first place to look for crank related problems. Jump started can fix it but jumping a side post battery can yeild 'fake' results IMO you dont get full contact of the terminals. Walmart batteries is all i use. The "die hards" of whatever the hell the market ALWAYS die in the alloted time and due the to the walmarts vast employment opportunities you get free batteries every couple years. It's just a result of one 'no start'.
