Default 228 cam question

I have someone that want to trade some parts I have for a 228/228 .585/.585 on a 112+4 comp on xer lobe. I have a 98 WS6 with SLP long tubes, LS6 Intake, !EGR, !AIR, LS6 cam,3.23 gears, Auto with stock stall, TQ Management is gone, and it is tuned. I have been reading for the last 2 hours and need some help. Will it work with the stock stall for a couple monts and is it daily driveable with the stock stall??? I drive70 miles a day 95% highway. Will there be a big differance from the LS6 Cam. Thanks!!

I think that cam will pull the car through the brakes with a stock stall. Can you trade him and get the cam now and then save for the converter and do them together? The 228 will give you a big gain over the ls6 cam.

If your asking will it run yes ,but you may not wana drive it. It will pull hard even with both feet on the brakes. IMO buy the cam save some money get a stall do it all at once.

get at least a 3200 converter.

wouldnt recommend doing a 228 w/o one.

No where close. Just need to stall that ****. Trust me everyone whos weary of a stall loves it once they get it. Just make sure you grab one thats tight. It will feel like it should have came with one. Scouts Honor.
