yeah that would be great i am 401 rwhp now 475 would suite the hell out of me i would love to make the pro 5.0 a lil more quieter never no might throw a hundred shot on my car just dont no if i could do that to her
500rwhp out of a n/a 346 will take quite alot of work. It can be done, but it is a max-effort build and probably wouldn't have the best street manners. If your budget is 5-6K why not build a stroker? You can get a forged 383 rotating assembly from tsp for $1800. After bearings/gaskets and machine work you might have $2300-2500 into the short block. Add a nice set of trick flow or afr heads and maybe a bigger cam and 500rwhp is very attainable and street friendly too.
I'm with him ^^^ stroke it, and throw on a nice set of heads with your fast 90 and lt's and you'll be at your goal. Also a forged SB will take a 100-200 shot of go gas with out even batting an eye, if you get board, lol.
dam thats some serious speed sounds like a goal i need to reach a stroker motor i thought was much more exp than that what about that rattle noise u think its my pro 5.0 its getting louder and louder i am really worried about that
