Default Crane lifter question

Ok all Im looking to replace my lifters during spring break and Im looking for info on the Crane 144530-16 lifters. Summit has these and another set for like 600+ bucks and let me tell ya those arent an option! Im alos not really interested in LS7 or caddy lifters just if you know about or have used these I would appreciate your impressions. Thanks!

Not sure if you have considered Morels, they are a tad cheaper than the Cranes but more than GM. Not sure if anyone currently has them now though as there was a shortage of them. They are around $500 for a set with much better materials and machining than GM.

Ive considered morels but no one has them and Im not ready to spend 500 bucks for a set of lifters. Im asking about the 144530-16 crane lifters that are around 250 ish a set from summit. If those are better than the comp 850-16 lifters then Ill probably end up with sthem. Like I if youve used them let me know your impressions.

I'm running the caddy lifters i my 408, with a .612/.615 cam.I think I paid $217 from SDPC. I ran the Comp 850's for about 5 years prior to the caddys. I think the Cranes and Morels have a very tight preload window.
