Default Did I make the right choice ??

Ordered this cam today, did I make the right decison ??

230/232 duration, .573"/.575", 111lsa

Want at least 400-410 RWHP and a NASTY idle. Dont want to lose to much lowend tq. and dont want to spin it to 7000rpm

Please tell me this will do it

W/ comp. tuning(EDIT), you should be alright as far as low end torque goes, but you wont notice the torque unless you get kinda on it. As far as the revs, 230/232 means that the crank will have to spin 230 degrees for the int. valve to open and 232 degrees for the exh. valve to open. So, your lookin at a little higher then 63-6400 RPM range. I think. Cool LSA though! BLAB BLAB BLAB BLAB BLAB VROOOOOOooooooooom.

My puny cam just failed NYS emissions!

Cam is 220/220, 564/564/ 112LSA

This with 11.4 ported heads, however...


They guy told me Westchester NY just changed their hydro carbon limit to 60PPM; my car measured 73PPM....
