Default Dyno graph 439.9 UNTUNED

I was trying to add this to my corvetteforum web site but its down for some reason. If you copy and paste in a new window you can see it. If I remember correctly if you click to a geocities page it wont come up. I have the graph on my work computer and just need either a host or corvetteforum.com home pages to come back online. The car had valve float over 6100rpm. If the curve continues I think 459rwhp is very possible. The injectors were stuck wide open and there was no way to richen the program, I pulled timing back to 26/7 degrees to be safe.
Max HP UNTUNED 439.9 || 408rwtq. The program was richened 20% and yeilded 443rwhp but the A/F was roughly the same. SUPER LEAN.
27 degrees of timing
13 - 15:1 A/F

My 231/237 112 lsa peaked at 6300. What would make your cam peak so much higher? Also, what is the lift on it. Thanks for the info.

Does your cam have any advance ground in? .595/.605 lift My cam is ground straight up which will make it peak higher than cams with 4 degrees ground in.

Ok, that makes sense. I'm pretty sure the TSP cam has 2 degrees ground into it.. I had it written down somewhere.

Phill, great numbers man. Vince you cam peaks a bit higher because of the 114 lsa. So phil you still are running into valve float, man that thing is gonna scream once you get it worked out. Keep us updated.

I just recently went to 977 springs, Comp R lifters and shimmed Yella Terra Rockers. Before @ 6200 you could fell the power fall off....now it pulls like a freight train to 7200 limiter.

That's the same cam I got. Hmm, I thought I would be the first. Oh well, at least I get a good look at what it can do. I think you and I will have basically the same set-up, except I will be running the Patriot LS-6 heads. What size injectors did you max out?

Wow.
Assuming you continue to peak around 7200 do you plan to shift up around 7500? Hope your bottom end is in good shape; sounds like you've got the valvetrain covered.

How much gear are you running?

Beast96z,
SMALL 26.6 99 injectors.

Ragtop99,
I was hoping the cam would peak at 6700 to shift at 7k but it doesnt look like that is goign to happen. The bottom end is forged and should spin to 7k easy.

Offaxis,
Comp Cams 987 springs and they were fine until I went to the big XER cam. They worked fine with a 230/230 XE.

99blackbird TA,
Comp R lifters

I just did all of the final checks, if weather holds out I'll be heading off to the track tomorrow for some shakedown passes. Looking for some 10.20s - 10.60s @ 136-138.
Phillip
