low end ls1 cam?

Two words: Custom grind.
Call up Comp, Lingenfelter or Texas-Speed and ask them to grind you something like this:
261/265 advertised duration, 208/212 @ .050", .554/.558" on a 112 LSA and 109 ICL. With good tuning it will idle smooth enough for a big truck like yours and make pretty solid low end torque to help turn those tires.
please tell me about this cam, like why these numbers w/be best and how much does a cam like that cost? I assume hyd/roller right?
Also, the valve events of this cam are aimed for 100% low end grunt and decent gas mileage when matched with mild compression ratios such as the stock 10:1 LS1's. Instead of bleeding off much of the compression like a bigger cam would, this cam will hold more of that in therefore helping to turn those 40's with less gas pedal usage.
The reason why I know a cam like this works is because I have one just like it in my own LS1 truck and it turns my 35's with ease (4L60E and 4.30's in Dana 44's).
