Default Difference between LS1 LQ4???

Have a 6.o liter take out. Now what r the real differences between runnin this or my LS1? What is the biggest stroker u can make out of the 6.0 later down the line? These r the mods i have for either motor. Also have heard there are certain year LQ4 that will not bolt up to my 4l60, any truth on that?

If you plan on going bigger down the road definatly use the 6.0. 383 is about as big as you can build the ls1. How big you can bore the 6.0 block is debatable, and anything bigger than 4.00 stroke is asking for oil comsumption problems. 408 is very common but I have seen bigger like 416 etc. 99-00 LQ4's will only bolt up to 4L80E. I believe these motors had iron heads as well (maybe just the 99s?). If your running it stock the biggest difference is compression ratio. The LQ4 is 9.5:1 due to dished pistons and 72cc combustion chambers.
