TR224....... Then get a 3400-3800 stall. I ran my 224 for a week until my TC came in. It can be done, but why??

A converter is quicker to install and will give you what you're looking for. It is a better first mod than a cam. Period. Do a search and read the same debate...... Over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over........................ Got it?

I think he nade his point........ cheaTR is a good way to go no stall if you still fell that way.... and if you have decided to stall go a little bigger than a 224 IMHO. I feel for ya cause choosing a cam is hard to do with so many choices and the marketing hype

anybody know what a cheatR cam does on a bolt on a car with say.. ls6 intake, LT's, good flowing exhaust, lid, free mods, 323 or 342 gears.. stock stall everything else..

just curios what kinda times these cams produce with normal bolt ons... in the 1/4... or more preferably in the 1/8!

I hope you learn from my mistake. go bigger than the LS6 cam. i was worried about daily drivability and went too small. for my A4 i should have gone with at least lunatis recommendation of 565 lift 221 dur on a 115 lsa. the web guys will say 224 or even 228 dur. call some vendors and ask opinions for YOUR application. just my 2 cents. ps always upgrade springs!

If you don't have the budget for both, I would recomend getting the converter first and the cam later.
