Default P to V question, "valve drop method" questions.....

How do I determine if a cam should fit by using this method? On my heads, the valve will drop .181" before it hits the piston at TDC. (This is with a gasket in place, fwiw) My question is this, is there anyway to determine if a given cam will clear given the valve drop numbers? Or, will I have to install everything, and check clearance? (I know that I will have to check either way, but I'd like to know before hand if it should fit.

Thanks, Shawn

Default Re: P to V question,

You need .200+ drop on that cam. After flycutting we achieve ~ .225-.240

I sent you a PM the other day, did you get it?
