Default New Heads?

Right now I am using the TR Stg. 1 heads w/ 1.8 Crane Rockers and the Crane 530/530 cam. (Nothing really cool)
My question is this, I'm stepping up to the MTI C1 and I would just like to know what you guys think/or heard of the best heads for this cam. I was kind of thinkin about the Patriot 5.3's (Stg. II).

Heads & Cam listed above, All bolt-on's, LS6 Man., MACS W/ ORY, yata, yata, yata.

Thanx

To say there are a set of the "best heads" out for a particular cam is not going to happen. Each porter will bring their own cards to the table and you will have to do your homework. I'd looked a a bunch of Stage 2 5.3 heads and narrowed it down to two...then MTI announced their Stage 2E heads. The price is about the same and no one will debate their track record. Not to take anything away from any other shop/person at all, but I'm running a C1 and will be ordering a set of the 2E's this week more than likely.

My vote goes to the patriots.. I've had a set of the 5.3's and they worked real good. I paid $1,295 for the heads, then they bought my stock heads back from me for $200!! So I ended up with a set of stage II 5.3 heads for $1,095. I'm sorry, but NO ONE out there can come close to that price. The other porters out there with their "economy" heads fail to mention that they have a core that is sometimes $500. Mine were $1295 with NO core. Check into it before spending your money at all the hidden costs.
