Cam help please

Cam help please Ok i have a tr cheater cam in my camaro --- i bought the car with
cam in it -- was told car went bottom 12"s with it in it -- have all
bolts on --- headers -converter(3400)-4.10 gear and bmr susp.----
im not sure if i should just enjoy it this summer with little cam in it and save cash and do heads next year with that cam or swap
cam this year -- my goal is to run mid 11"s with the cam i have now and heads or with a cam only combo ---- i have a 4k stall converter if needed and dont care about driveability -- its just a week end cruiser ----- what cam would you recommend for a cam only set up if you think thats the way i should go -- thanks

With that stall you could use or RR-230 cam. Its a 230/236 on an xfi lobe. It will work great for a cam only operation. When we cam pro them they usually spec at a 232/238. You will gain nicely over the cheatr cam. We have done both setups.
