Default any strength difference between 98 and 99 rod bolts?

Are the rod bolts in the 98 and 99 the same or did they make a change? I've heard a few different things but trying figure out if 98 and 99 are both the weaker set up.

SAME.

01-02 are the desirable ones, The earlier ones are usually good to 6500 though. I will tell everybody what mine look like this summer if all goes according to plan.

The bolts failing is more a issue of engine rpm than horsepower?
