Default What heads with this cam??

Lobe Separtation: 113, Intake Duration at .05: 238.7 degrees, Intake Lift:.600
Exhaust Duration:242.2 degrees, Exhaust Lift:.595

Intake:
Valve Open= 10.3 BTDC
Centerline--- 109
Valve Close= 48.5 ABDC

Exhaust= 58.1 BBDC
Centerline---117 BTDC
Valve Close= 4 ATDC

can I use 5.3 heads w/ this cam? or should I get some 241's and port them or 243's. car is a full bolt on 99 formula 6spd w/ 3:90 gears.

That's going to be a close one with the 5.3l heads. Do you know what kind of p/v you have currently? Let me do some measurements with a few different options & I'll see if we can get you into a PRC Stage 2.5 5.3l head or maybe a PRC Stage 2.5 LS6 heads.

The PRC 215 heads will clear fine & give you a big compression boost, the other option is the PRC Stage 1 LS6 heads. They can ship with a 62.5cc chamber and have stock p/v.

WOW 2-plus years later.......No-one will tell you unequivicly YES it will clear
that cam is pretty stout but a stock ls6 head would have a better chance of
clearing than some milled cnc heads......use light checking springs and double
check to be sure. Depending on funds a set of Trickflow 13 deg. or MAST 11
deg. castings will offer more clearance (I'm assuming you're trying to avoid
flycutting the pistons)
