I thought you had to fly cut or whatever for the MS4. Idk what it is but I thought there was something you had to do to the motor so you could use the MS4. Isn't it something to do with the valve to piston clearance?

no fly cutting of pistons required for ms4 on a stock motor.

uhh... i was pretty sure the MS3 was all you could do on a stock motor without fly cutting... thats why im going with the MS3 not the MS4... am i wrong?

well if your guys would ever check your own ****, you wouldn't be throwing a Trex into any stock motor without checking first.

anyways a MS4 has 3 times the PTV clearance than a Trex, which was about .015 intake and .018 exhaust.

So a MS4 is safe for a stock motor with no flycut, and a trex is a hell no, without flycut.(I edit because, you can run this cam, but there could be problems with PTV at some point.)

My vote is for MS4.

{bes stroked nova} i ran the trex on stock heads with no flycutting in my old car {01ss} so maybe you need to check yo ****! ha just haveing some fun

do you have a sound clip of that ms4 on a 108 lsa????

I never said you cant run it, but I wont put no cam in my car with .015 ptv...

I stand corrected. No idea where I read that now. MS4 is still too close for me though without flycutting. Im stickin with my MS3.
