Project Retro is Done! Video of new engine & more
Well I used Corvette O2s and they have about 3-foot long leads on them. I ran the O2s through a hole I cut in the tranny tunnel right at the base of the firewall. So the O2s actually drop from the PCM right down to where the header bungs are.
, not the O2s

Gotcha! The driver's side is a little longer because of the frame rail on that side. But since the collector for the passenger side header is farther back, the dumps are nearly in the same place on each side. They dump right about where the g-load brace is under the car.

Snaded it down real well and then about 3 coats of primer, 7 coats of paint, and 3 coats of enamel. All from a spray can.

Sorry Ray...not going to bring it. Had to order pushrods and I am out in Omaha until Thursday night. Want to tune before I run it. Will ride up with Mike or Tom to Norwalk.
That is by far one of the best documented and professionally installed engines I have ever seen. Excellent fabrication and very very clean.
Hey Todd it looks outstanding... can you point me in the right direction for the way you did the coils and and plug wires.... thanks..

Th pictures show how the coils go together. The wires were constructed from a universal v-8 set with straight boots and an LT1 set for the coil boots. Just cut, clamped, etc.
