Engine oil cooler Q
Hey Everyone.
I bought a 6.0L Motor, that i was lucky enough to get an oil cooler adapter on. Its got the block and steel plumbing leaving it.
Got a few questions.
1. The tubes are cut off, if i were to push a 3/8" Neoprene hose onto it, and use a fuel injection clam to hold it on, am i running an increased risk that it could blow off and pump the oil out of the motor?
2. Will a transmission fluid cooler work as an engine oil cooler? Im looking at this unit from Summit racing, want to know that i can run oil through ti at 70psi safely.

3. If its not safe to clamp a Neoprene hose onto it, if i put 2 3/8" hard line to -6 an adapters, then -an lines to a cooler, is that acceptable?
All help greatly appreciated.

I have a 36 pass oil cooler mounted where the air pump used to be up by the front bumper drivers side. SS braided AN10 lines connect to a Lingenfelter billet manifold bolted to the side of the block above the oil filter.
My 408 was running 275-280* and now I'm down to ~200.
