Default what needs to be done to go from a 346ci - 382 ?

Just curious, i was thinking about stepping things up a notch. The 382ci should be able to be done with the stock sleeves, right?

someone fill me in.

A 382 can be done via stroking, then you don't need sleeves.

But, if you do it via bore, you have to get sleeves.

it seems they are both really expensive, specially longblocks.

to stroke it, besides the new crank, what else would you need to change? i assume you could keep the stock size pistons but how much longer would the rods have to be? if any.

Ive wondered about how this was done too.

Stock rods are 6.098" and stroker rods are 6.125" with a 4.000" stroke
