Ideling problems
Alright a few months ago i had my cam installed and had my car dynotuned at Raging Motorsports in Ks, well ive had some problems with it ideling funny, it will go from 800 up to 1100 down to 500 and sometimes it will die and i will have trouble starting it back up. I also went to the track and i it 13.2@110 i know my time sucks but isnt the trap speed kind of low for my mods and hp? Im wondering if this is the tuning. Thanks guys.

Re: Ideling problems
call mark up and let him know the problem....
HE wil take care of it if you paid for the initial dynotuning after the cam went in...
It took 4 returns to get mine close to right....
he may have to lean out idle a little or jack with the IAC's...
hell...mine still takes about 10 seconds to find idle....
and if the track times were on streets....you might just be spinning the tires too much....
I had the sam eproblem...couldnt find the right launch..then I couldnt find the right feather out....too many variables...now I have it figured out...my track times improved drasticly after I figured out how to get traction on my street tires...(I need to buy slicks...but not till I get a stronger rearend)
Low to mid 12's with slicks is possible if you are a good driver...if you are not such a good driver....practice..practice..practice....
theres a lot of things to do to get it all right.
