Big Cam Vaccum Issues??

Has anyone had any issues with building proper vaccum with there big cam setups( say .600" and bigger)? If so what were the issues and were you able to resolve these issues?

i had a ms4 and he was able to tune it fine, once in a great while it would wanna hunt for idle.

my breaks are a little soft down low. other than that i have no problems with vacuum

It is duration not lift that that causes vacuum issues. Having said that even a large cam like an MS4 drives fine because most set idle in the 900-950rpm range so it ends up making up for most of the vacuum loss.

So would that be the larger the duration the more likely you are to have vaccum issues? And at what range would you start to see these issues?
Sorry guys but im trying to learn.
