Will a 5.3 crank work in a 6.0

Will a 5.3 crank work in a 6.0 i have a 99 silverado 1500 i am putting a 99 6.0 in, the problem is the back of the crank is longer on the 6.0 so i will not have torque converter clearance will my 5.3 crank work in it. i think they are the same stroke
