Default timing chain

I am doing a cam swap on my camaro and i was looking for a double roller timing set,and i keep seeing timing sets with a torrington bearing, what is the difference between a timing set without the bearing and with the bearing.and what would be better to get. Thanks

LS1 motor use JP Performance #5615T, that comes with the bearing. Bearing keeps from rubbing the front cam retainer plate(no metal to meatl contact anymore) and takes alittle load of the front cam bearing. It's a better choice.

Honestly, if you're only do a cam swap, not shooting nitrous...I don't necessarily see the point to getting a double roller. There are plenty of single rollers that would suffice. I'm doing a cam swap as well and am about to order an LS2 timing chain set. Sorry to hijack this.
