We sold out of all of them. The Value 427 will now use the Callies Compstar.

As far as I know, Cola went out of business a few years back. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

FWIW, they had an awesome reputation.

If you are looking for the lightest crank commonly available, the Callies Magnum XL is going to be hard to beat. My 4" stroke version weighs in at 42 lbs.

I don't know where you would find the weight on a Cola crank since they are so rare today. Good luck.

Thanks,
Shane

Everyone wants a light crank but rarely want to spent the $$$ for one. Your typical $1000 forged cranks are going to weigh in at 50lbs or so.Without looking I bet the 42lb Callies Magnum XL runs over $2500...but damn, what a sexy chunk of metal those cranks are!!!

IIRC, Katech had a ton in stock even after they were discontnued and that's how they were able to still assemble the Value 427 with them.

Yeah... you're right, my cost was more than that with the options I chose but man is it SEXY!!!

Now if I could only find time to drop it in the block... for now it is one of my more expensive paperweights right next to the set of ET LS7 heads with Ti valves...
